When you swing open the door, the first room you walk into is the “lounge” where two couches and a lamp greet you. This is where most women sit as they wait for their friends to come out of the actual restroom. I used to come in the lounge during my ten minute breaks and just relax.
Next to the lounge is a little 10 x 10 room which is the baby changing station. Babies need some privacy too, you know ;)
I made note of the full length mirror with the two hooks next to it so you can hang your purse while doing any makeup touches, clothing adjustments, etc. Granted, it’s not as creatively decorated as Lulu’s Nail Salon that Stephanie Weaver mentioned, but in terms of functionality and customer experience, Nordstrom gets it right.
