
Well, the manager basically called the customer a liar by saying that it was “impossible” for the power cord to be missing. Hmmm... The box stuffers NEVER forget to put a power cord in the box? How do they know?
Instead of arguing with the customer and losing business, why not bite the bullet and give her a new $10 power cord?
Just another case of losing $10 or losing a customer for life... What would you choose?









Maria, as we always say, it's how we handle the situation. I'd go for giving the customer a new power cord. That way, it saves me from wrinkles and earns me a customer for life (perhaps). :)
