How do you get feedback from your customer if your business is on a budget?
Well, traditionally businesses had to survey their customers “manually” to find out how the business was doing and make any improvements accordingly. This meant the business had to print out survey forms and entice customers to fill out these forms. Although this is still being done by some companies, nowadays a business can direct a customer to their online survey form to get their feedback, thus saving money on paper, pens, pencils, etc.
Another way to get feedback is to do a BlogSearch for your company to find out who in the blogosphere is talking about your company. For a more refined search, enter your company name in quotes - ex. "CustomersAreAlways.com". At the bottom of the BlogSearch page is the option to receive alerts via email when someone writes about your company. Voila! Free feedback via email! How easy is that?

Have any other suggestions on getting free, easy, or low-cost ways to gather feedback from customers?

Great idea Maria. I hadn't thought of Google alerts as a way to get customer service feedback. I'm using this idea. Thanks!
