It’s hard for me to compare Amazon.com and Nordstrom because one is an online company while the other is predominantly offline. Being an ex-Nordstrom employee, I’m very partial to the company. As for the other companies on the list, I’ve only done business with Kohl’s and Macy’s. I haven’t noticed anything about Kohl’s that makes it stand out except perhaps that they have cashiers who are always ready to ring you up - unlike other department stores in its category (like Mervyn’s).
I’m trying to think of any other retailers that may be better than these companies...can you?
