
So that was $3 that Michael’s lost from me yesterday. Now imagine if there were about 100 people like me who came into that same Michael’s and couldn’t find what they needed because of the mess.
100 x $3 = $300 = The amount in sales the company could have lost yesterday from one store
Now let’s say that there were about 20 other stores in the Michael’s chain that were messy and disorganized....
$300 x 20 = $6,000 = The amount of sales the company could have lost yesterday altogether
Now multiply that by 30 and you get $180,000 in sales that Michael’s could lose in a month!
And you wonder if the little things count?
