I often preach here how important it is to invest in your customers. However, it is just as important to invest in your employees as well. I have a whole category here called “Employees” that is dedicated to helping you connect with your employees. Your employees are the pillars that hold up your organization. Believe it or not, but your employees are the ones that will determine if your business succeeds or not. If those pillars are not stable, it won’t be long before the organization comes crashing down!
How are you investing in your people? Your ideas are welcome!

At Starbucks, for example, it is (or it was when I was there) believed that employees come first, customers second, Wall Street third. This makes perfect sense: If employees are treated well and trained often, customers are served better.
