One of the things that I’m working on is to listen intently to what others are telling me. I used to often have this internal “chatterbox” that would judge what someone was telling me. Other times I was just simply in “La-la” land thinking about what I was going to say. I simply got lost in my own thinking that I didn’t hear what the other person was actually telling me. I’m sure that this happens with many of us - especially when we’re dealing with an irate or difficult customer.
So this week, I would advise to practice your listening skills!
