Whenever I walk into a public restroom, I start to tense up a little.
Even in nice, fancy restaurants! A restroom has to be exceptionally nice for me to feel totally comfortable in it and I feel that businesses should pay special attention on how they decorate and maintain their restrooms. A couple months ago I talked about how a Starbucks bathroom made me feel so comfortable that I could have done my work all day in it! I’ll see if I can get to it this week and get a picture ;) This week for the Bathroom Blogfest, I’ll be highlighting a couple of my favorite bathrooms around town as well as some not-so-good ones.
As a side note, I’m going to reveal something I do while I’m in a public restroom.... You may think this is just off-the-wall, but you’ll know something about me that even my best friends don’t know about me! Here goes.... I look at the feet of the woman next to me and try to guess what they look like...Sometimes going as far to make up a story about them! Hey - it passes the time!
Hi, Maria! I like this post (as usual). Tell you what, I want bathrooms to be clean, too. This is my dilemma when I go to malls and restos other than Glorietta/Greenbelt, Makati. But most high-end malls here have paid lounges where you're assured of clean bathrooms. Same with restos. One resto, whose bathroom I particularly like is Italianni's (an Italian resto in Greenbelt). I should take photos and show them to you. :-D
