3 Reasons Why I Like Skype
Meikah of Custserv blogged about Skype and how “Skype’s online customers got the best service Skype has to offer”.  She asks if any of us is a Skype customer and I have to raise my hand for that question.  I’ve been using Skype now for several months and am extremely satisfied with my service.  Reasons why I’m happy with Skype:

1)  Calls within the U.S. are free.  I mean, who doesn’t love free
skype7sf.jpg services?  The calls are clear and the software is user friendly. 

2)  Skype asks for your feedback right after the call.  Well, in the beginning I was asked for feedback, however, lately I haven’t noticed any feedback questionnaires. 

3)  They let their customers know that there might be issues...From the SkypeIn page:

“Right now we’re just testing the service, so there might be some kinks and it might not be entirely stable all the time.”

I’ve never had to personally call or email Skype about any service issues, so I can’t comment on the service from people who work for Skype.  However, overall, I’m pretty happy with their service.

I, too, love SKYPE. I first learned about it via some pre-event skypecasts in preparation for an Innovative Marketing Conference that Columbia Business School did. Then, I realized that it's really easy to do videocalls [with a camera :)], and so user-friendly that my parents have no problems skyping or being skyped by their granddaughter!

I just LOVE Skype. I started using their service late 2003 or early 2004, I can't recall.Their ability to make things easy and straightforward is one of their biggest strengths. No nonsense. And when Skype became capable of handling calls on legacy telephony services, I was stunned with their design of the software: they were able to make full use of my existing experience and user education with a phone!
