Unfortunately, I’ve never flown the airline before, but I’ve heard great stories about Virgin when I worked for a tour company a few years
ago. I booked international airline flights and everyone raved about Virgin Atlantic. What was most notable is the flat beds that one can sleep on during long flights.
However, I came across this post at 5 Blogs Before Lunch that talks about Virgin’s cutbacks on freebies which has “Upper Class” travelers in a huff.
Richard Branson, the CEO of Virgin is quoted in the Fast Company article as saying, “Is this how I would want to be treated if I were the customer?”
Such a profound question, yet it’s funny that customer service reps don’t ask themselves that...
