The True Cost of Properly Training Your Employees
Yes, customer service training can be quite costly if you have an outside firm help you.  It is good to have a firm help you if you do have the budget and many employees to train.  However, if you’re a smaller company, I believe it doesn’t have to be costly to turn your employees into company evangelists.

Sure, you’re probably thinking, but it takes time to train people and that could be time you could be making in sales, right?  That’s short-term thinking.  Think about how much more money you could make in the long-run if you trained your employees properly on how to take care of the customers and empowering them to take ownership of the business.

When you show that you care enough to invest the time to make your employees successful, your employees will help you to become successful!

Excellent point, Maria. There's an old saying in my company, "You pay for your training whether you do it or not."

Think about that for a minute.

Glenn

Glenn,

So very true and exactly my point! It's just too bad that many businesses are so caught up in making money that they become blind to everything else. If they only knew that their lack of customer service is hurting them more than they'll ever know...

In sales business, training people plays a very important role. There are particularly sales strategy for each sales domain and if these are not well implemented the results will not much up to. Persons with sales skills and trained will warrantee the success. It could take a little more time and money but it surely worth.
