Service Untitled has an interesting post, How Are You Today? I do often wonder why people ask me that when they obviously don’t really care how I am doing. Just another one of those “robotic phrases” I’ve talked about before. I always look at the person asking me the question to see if they really mean it or not. Most of the time it’s asked half-assed (sorry, couldn’t think of a better word!) with no eye
contact and no smile. No enthusiasm. That happens about 50% of the time. I really should start carrying a hidden camera with me, huh? That would make for a really interesting post...Oh, but I digress.
So, how are you doing today, dear reader? Talk to me! Need some inspiration? Check out some service quotes...

Ah, yes. Right up there with "Have a Nice Day," which a friend of mine used to refer to "the magic HAND". Sometimes I will reply, "I'm doing great, how are you?" Much of the time they ignore me, and every so often I get this look of complete surprise, like no one has ever taken an interest in THEM before.
