
Watch out, T-Mobile, there’s a company that is trying to top you in customer service. That company is Cingular. Mike Bennett, Cingular’s executive director of consumer and government affairs was interviewed recently and this what he has to say:
“Our calls into our call centers have never been lower. Our complaints in all areas have never been lower. Our churn (percentage of customers leaving each month) has never been lower. Our internal and external surveys are showing we are trending upwards faster than the competition, and we're hitting our best scores in first-call resolution and willingness to recommend and overall satisfaction, customer satisfaction and network satisfaction....”![]()
I recently switched to Cingular. I've gone through Verizon and Sprint already. The reason I'm waiting to join T-Mobile, the company that supposedly has the best customer service, is that I want to see if there really is indeed a difference between all the companies.
We’ll check back next year when the J.D. Power survey on customer service comes out to see if Cingular improved!
