Good Monday, folks! It’s that time again...Carnivale of Customer Service! Again I will be your host for this week, but I do welcome your request to be a host at your blog...
I didn’t receive any submissions for this week, so I thought I’d go around the Know More Media network and see who else is talking about customer service. So grab a cup of coffee, sit back, relax, and meet new people!
>>> We have a new addition to the Know More Media team, Bud Bilanich of Career Super Star. Bud’s latest post is titled “The Power of Connecting” in which he gives us an overview of Jeffrey Gitomer’s book, The Little Black Book of Connections. Making connections with our customers is one of the key fundamentals of great customer service. I like this line here: “...Rich relationships lead to much more than money. They lead to success, fulfillment and wealth...” By the way, Bud also has another blog called Common Sense Guy with a wealth of information to help you with your business.
>>> Monica Flores of Sisters In Biz has a series on business planning and part 5 is “Feedback”. She says that “Feedback is the cornerstone of your continued success.”
>>> Marta Wells recently called PCLaptops where a man told her that he loved her! Can you imagine calling up a random company and the customer service reps telling you that they love you? How often does that happen? Uhhh...never for me!
>>> And of course, I had to drop by Call Center Script and see what Jam is up to these days. Customer Focus Organization is a recent topic where Jam says, “It is critically important for us to see within, to maintain stability when providing excellent service to our clients and their customers calling into our center.”
>>> Bill Belew over at Rising Sun of Nihon says that Sony could lose customers because of delays in making the PS3. I think it’s a ploy to create demand so people will pay the $600+ sticker price!
I wish I had all day to read the rest of the blogs here at Know More Media because we do have some of the most excellent writers! If you are part of the network and would like to share a customer service related post, contact me at maria [at] customersarealways.com and I’ll update this post with your link! For everybody else - email me your submission to be included in next week's Carnivale!
