This week we have only a couple submissions, but of course, they’re good ones!
It seems that the words “Thank You” seem to be a theme this week in customer service land! Yesterday I talked about thanking the people who serve us. Glenn Ross of Customer Service Experience gives us a couple examples of how to thank our customers. When I worked at Nordstrom we were required to write thank you cards to customers before we left for the day. I loved it when a customer came back to thank me for the thank you card!
A few days ago I talked about the “Switch Day” that Richard H. Levey proposed. Richard has a follow-up article where he shares with us the responses he received from his readers. Now it’s time to pick a day for “Switch Day” to happen! Close to election day? That’s sounds like a good idea – switch politicians, switch services. It gives us about two months to get the word out!
So this week take some time out to send a thank you card to your customers and start creating buzz about “Switch Day”….
I’m going to take up Meikah’s offer to host the Carnivale. Perhaps she’ll do it next week. I’ll keep you posted! If you would like to host, let me know >>> maria [at] customersarealways.com. Find out more about hosting here!
