I was browsing through Business Week yesterday and read an article about how the Chinese are very vocal when it comes to providing customer feedback. Although they’re not allowed to talk publicly against the government, they’ll let it be known when they don’t like or appreciate a company’s service.
With that said, it brings me to my thought for the day which comes from Shaun Ren, founder of the China Market Research Group:
“Companies can get really screwed if they don’t pay attention to bloggers and online forums.”
Speaking of, I did a quick check on my business, “Salon de Maria”. Nothing. Phew ;)

If you know the ways of the Internet, then you have to trust Shaun Ren. Simply, you can’t avoid bloggers and forums. These are the way links are made and that leads to high PR.
