Gosh, it's been awhile since I've handed out an award for a Good Customer Service Story! All is well, though. I came across Starbucker's post, True "Service With a Smile" where he relays a travel experience with a smiley flight attendant...![]()
"...every time the attendant patiently and pleasantly provided the same explanation he gave to me. Not once did he betray any frustration or annoyance that he had to keep repeating this over and over (and over) again.
I know that this was his job, but nevertheless, that smile he kept on his face still impressed me..."
I believe that your smile tells your life story. There's the tired smile, the fake smile, the happy-go-lucky-smile, the confident smile, the I-love-my-job smile, etc. etc. There's a lady, Kim, at my local Long's Drugs store who has wrinkles around her eyes from smiling all day. She has one of those genuine smiles.

Thanks Maria! A genuine smile can mean so much to a great customer service experience - this flight attendant certainly proved that. All the best.
