
Folks, we may have one solution to cure our customer service woes. Richard H. Levey of Directmag.com suggests that perhaps we should have a "National Switch Day”:
Here's how a national Switch Day would work: Consumers would list all their service providers and determine which ones weren't meeting their needs, then begin the process of changing their providers. Hopefully, they would have steeled themselves with a good breakfast before trying to cut through phone trees or actually sitting in the waiting room of whichever institution they were trying to leave.
Hmmm...if all the companies knew about this it would definitely be a sight to see. Just imagine being the CEO of a company that offers bad service and watching your sales go down the tube that day. Perhaps that would send a strong message, wouldn’t it?
We may be onto something here....
