There are many questions and some confusion as to what the Carnivale of Customer Service is and what to do, so I will outline in this post what the guidelines are and how to host The Carnivale at your blog.
What is a Blog Carnival?
I took this definition from BlogCarnival.com:
A Blog Carnival is a particular kind of blog community. There are many kinds of blogs, and they contain articles on many kinds of topics. Blog Carnivals typically collect together links pointing to blog articles on a particular topic. A Blog Carnival is like a magazine. It has a title, a topic, editors, contributors, and an audience. Editions of the carnival typically come out on a regular basis (e.g. every monday, or on the first of the month). Each edition is a special blog article that consists of links to all the contributions that have been submitted, often with the editors opinions or remarks.
What day will the Carnivale of Customer Service take place?
I’ve decided to have The Carnivale of Customer Service on a bi-monthly basis with the edition to be posted on Monday.
How do you participate or submit an article to be posted for the carnivale?
If you have a blog you simply write up your post and email it to the host - generally by late Saturday or Sunday. We want to give the host some time to get all the entries together and create their post. Don’t forget to email the host with the link to your post so that he/she can include you in the carnivale.
How does one become a host for the Carnivale of Customer Service?
If you would like to host the carnivale, email me your request at maria [at] customersarealways.com.
What are the host’s responsibilities?
2) Read all the submissions for the carnivale
3) Create a post on your blog with a 2-3 sentence synopsis of each submission along with a link to their blog so readers can read more.
That's it!
Have fun and let me know if you have any questions!

Looks great -- thanks for your keen leadership Maria~ what a fun idea to keep the thoughts flying. I'll think about hosting at a later date since I have HUGE commitments for the next couple of weeks. But I love this idea!
