It's Blogtipping day and I'm excited to finally be able to participate 
since the past two months I've either been late or too caught up in life to share in the love ;)
I've recently subscribed to Nick Rice's blog on "Strategic Design" where he talks about the marketing and branding realms of business - two topics every business person should be familiar with! What I like about Nick's blog:
1) He believes in "link love" and sharing current news and information from his daily reads
2) Nick throws in funny illustrations from one of my favorites, GapingVoid. It's good to add some humor to your blog. People still love to laugh, ya' know?
3) I like Nick's straightforward talk and he blogs like he talks. Plus, his posts are short and to the point. Not that I don't like blogs that have long posts. Nick's blog just gives me "balance" in my readings.
Here's my tip: I would love to read more about your experiences at work, Nick! Please share some case studies and tips ;)
Well, I think that the Blogtipping rules say that we review three blogs, 
but sorry folks, I have more packing to do! My "just a little bit of stuff" turned into a huge pile of cr*p!!
Thanks for the shout out. I enjoy your posts as well. It's great that someone is always ringing the bell for customer service. It's what will separate the wheat from the chaff in an ever increasing commodity market. I do struggle with blogging about industry news and best practices versus my daily experiences. We run a small design shop that only works w/ 8 clients at a time (so you can imagine the emphasis we place on service). So I don't want to call out anyone too close to home but I do think that life as a new business person could be valuable to others coming up in the industry. Thanks for the advice. Link love is where it's at. Keep up the great work!
