For those of you who have been reading this blog for awhile now, you 
know that I am all for CSR, or Corporate Responsibility. I stumbled upon McDonald's blog where the question is asked, "Is CSR a Fad or the Future?" I certainly believe that it is the future. People want to do business with companies who not only care for the customers, but care for the community at large. At least I do. I have a whole category on this blog dedicated to "Community" for the simple reason of creating awareness of CSR.
What's the point of just making money when you're not using some of that money to benefit the community where your customers work and play? Is that not part of service too?
Perhaps that is why McDonald's is so successful. The company contributes to the community and makes a difference in the lives of their customers. I like that. Don't you?
