I'm making efforts to get to know others in the blogosphere. Tom Vander Well has a respected blogroll, so I clicked on Mark True's blog link and read the story about his interview with former La-Z-Boy Chairman, Patrick Norton. Norton spent about 25 years with the company and is credited for building the brand of the company and from Mark's story I could tell that Norton is one of those people who "gets it". Norton knew how to treat people like family. Not just his customers, but anybody he came into contact with. It's no wonder he was inducted into the American Furniture Hall of Fame and received the Distinguished Service Award from the American Furniture Manufacturers Association.
