
There's an interesting thread over at Slashdot about Dell's intention to revise their contracts with consumers in the UK. Dell still has yet to publicly changed the terms and conditions agreements as people that once swore by Dell have now entered what I've read around the web as "Dell Hell". This is just another prime example of what poor customer service can do to a company.
However, a friend tells me another story about Dell - a good story. Something happened with his computer, so he called customer service and was told to send in the computer. He received a replacement computer even before he sent off the first computer! This happened recently, so perhaps it is true - Dell is making up for their mistakes.
For now I'll give Dell the benefit of the doubt....
