As of August I will be a resident of Mexico...so pretty soon I will be 
reporting on my customer service experiences in this corner of the world! I'll only be fifteen minutes from the border, so I won't be too far removed ;)
So far I can say that the shopkeepers are friendly and courteous. In fact, you'll sometimes see them outside their shops practically begging for you to come inside and spend money with them! Perhaps I've been treated this way because they can tell I'm an American with money. However, in general, my experience with the Mexican people have been favorable - very warm and hospitable.
