Awhile ago I talked about being enthusiastic when dealing with customers, but when was the last time that you created an enthusiastic experience for your customer? When was the last time you inspired someone so much that they told their friends to do business with you and those friends came in asking for you?
In my Starbucks (Gosh, when am I not in this place?) visit today I overheard an interview in which the interviewer told the interviewee, "We want to create an enthusiastic and satisfying experience for our customer.”
If there's one thing I would like you to do today, I would like you to create enthusiasm for your customers. It could be as simple as taking the extra time to thoroughly explain the product their purchasing, adding a free service, helping them carry their groceries to their car without them asking, or offering them a cup of water - because we all know how unusually hot it is nowadays!
Have any other examples of creating enthusiasm for your customers? Your suggestions are welcome...
