Ah, the AOL saga goes on... Vincent Ferrari had heard and read of all the AOL horror stories about people trying to cancel their account, so he records his conversation with an AOL rep when he cancelled his own account. The end result, a spot on NBC's Today Show where he airs AOL's dirty laundry and an AOL rep is fired.
I can understand trying to find out the reason why a customer wants to discontinue service and possibly coming up with a solution to help them. However, if you listen to the conversation, you'll notice that Vincent was pretty adamant about canceling the account and repeated it several times. He didn't want to explain why and at that point the AOL rep should have just let it go.
Check out Vincent's five minutes of fame by watching the video below and read his blog with all types of comments...

I've never used AOL so I can't relate, but I thought this was the funniest thing.
I first thought it wasn't real. Like some guy put it together for fun. I learned otherwise after his story gained media attention.
