
As a customer service rep, have you ever thought of your position as one of inspiring other people? Sure, you may think that it's "just a job to pay the bills", but I assure you, your job is much deeper than that. It's part of your history and what you learn at that job will help you in your future endeavors.
As insignificant as your "job" may seem, you are not only there to help people, but perhaps you are there to offer a smile of encouragement, to demonstrate and teach kindness, or offer advice that could change someone's life. Your job is pretty astounding, if you really look at it on a spiritual level.
And remember, customers are there to teach you lessons too. I'm sure you've had many customers who test your patience or compassion. The less you have of these attributes, the more you are tested. Trust me on this.
