I'm sure there are many managers or business owners out there that are wondering how they can instill passion into the employees that work for them. How do you get people to fall in love with their job and exude enthusiasm for their work, your service or product? Is it even possible?
Passion is something that someone feels deep down within their souls. It's not something you can teach or "make" someone feel. You cannot force someone to feel the same way you do about your business. A person needs to relate to something in a way that stirs up emotions and feelings. Passion and enthusiasm come after that blissful feeling of being able to make a difference and being appreciated in the workplace.
How do you feel when someone takes notice of what you do and provides positive feedback? Doesn't that encourage you to want to do more? Doesn't that create passion for your work... knowing that you are helping people?
Passion is doing something you would still be doing if you had all the money in the world.
Passion is doing whatever it takes to make the customer smile.
Passion is wanting to help people solve their problems.
Passion is me writing this article, wanting to spread good energy, and providing the resources to help you succeed in your customer service initiatives.
What's your passion?

Passion is a powerful, transferrable contagion that will ooze out of your action and words...creating a curious thrist in others, wanting to know what it is you've got and how do they get some.
Thanks for sharing some of yours. Stay contagious!
