Karma in Business

I believe in karma and follow that famous mantra "What goes around, comes around".  This just doesn't apply to individual people - this applies to companies as well.

When I think of companies that are going through "troubles", for example, General Motors - I wonder where they went wrong.  However, I don't look at a company's failures and blame poor budgeting or wrong decision-making - I immediately blame their woes on where they went wrong with connecting with their customers.

I don't care who you are or who you work for, we are all here for a reason.  We're here to serve our fellow human.  I believe that when you stray away from that intention, that's when you invite greed and sorrow into every aspect of your life, including work.

Whatever you give out, you'll get back ten-fold.  This is one of the laws of the Universe.  It's something you can't get away from...and yes, it even applies to customer service.
