The artist side of me went to the Fabric Store to find some felt to use for my greeting cards. I stepped into the store and inhaled all those fabulous colors and textures. I stood in the front of the store taking it all in...trying to calm myself down because I do get quite excited when I'm surrounded by brilliant color :)
Felt...felt...felt... I wanted to stay focused. I tend to get unfocused and spend money on things I don't "need".
I looked over at the "service desk" where two older women glanced at me over their eyeglasses like I had just trampled over their rose bushes. They went back to their conversation without one single word of acknowledgement...
I suddenly felt very uncomfortable. I turned around and walked out.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Greet your customers! GREET YOUR CUSTOMERS! GREET....YOUR....CUSTOMERS.... GREET...GREET...not GREED...GREET!

LOL. Take it easy Maria! I know how you feel though. I get the same treatment here especially when I walk into some posh shops. The ladies also feel as expensive as their merchandise. Duh!
