dealers in China ranked #1 in customer service last year. That's because they were trained by Japanese dealership executives in everything from cleanliness to post-sale customer service.
Hmmm...do you think Nissan of Japan can send some people over here to the U.S.?
Most car salespeople here care more about the sale than anything. It's difficult when your rent depends on that sale! The few dealerships I've ever dealt with never contacted me after the sale. However, my dad's car salesman with Toyota has sent him a few postcards in the past year...
I've never had any dealings with Nissan, but I do have to say that I believe post-sale customer service should be the focus for car dealerships. It may be awhile before the customer returns, but I know that they have friends who may need a car soon!
