As part of the spring cleaning process Hubby and I decided to get a new bed. So, we shopped online and settled on a couple places to check out. At the first place we were greeted by Mark, whom Hubby talked to on the phone prior to us visiting the mattress warehouse. Mark seemed like a good guy. He let us try out all the mattresses with no pressure to buy. We told him we'd think about it and off we went to check out the second place.
Well, we were greeted at the second warehouse, but it took awhile for someone to check up on us. At this time I was getting quite hungry and ansy...
Mattress shopping...uh, not so exciting.
I was ready to just get something and call it a day. We decided on a bed and as Mr. Guy (didn't catch his name) was finalizing the sale, Hubby made small talk and told him we had gone to the other place first.
Mr. Guy says, "Oh, Dumb and Dumbers place?"
Oh, no, I thought - how unprofessional can you be?
Lesson: Never talk bad about your competition....
"Why do you say that?" I inquired.
He went into some long explanation using cuss words and verbage that I'll omit here, but I was really beginning to regret giving him my business.
Lesson: Eat before you go bed shopping. That way, you won't be in a rush to buy something and give business to someone who is arrogant and just plain unprofessional...
