Entrepreneur Magazine recently interviewed a few top sellers on Ebay to find out some of the keys to their success. One of the top sellers is David Wirtenberg, owner of Outrageous Auctions (eBay user ID: outrageousauctions). David sells engagement rings, wedding bands, and other jewelry, which brings him $8 - $10 million a year!
This is what David told Entrepreneur:
"Most of my diamond auctions start at $.99. Sometimes I lose money; Sometimes I make money. Whatever makes the customer happy, I do. Our packaging is second to none. Sometimes we pack our diamonds in Faberge eggs (for free). Once you have customers, you have those customers for good."
Can you bring in $8 - 10 million with excellent customer service? Of course - and David is living proof. If that doesn't inspire you, what will?
