
I think it's a good idea to let your customers know the level of service
they should expect from you. Granted, I know that customers do expect alot from people in customer service, but some type of service level agreement in writing or even posting your service promise lets them know that you're serious about giving them exceptional service.
I took the picture at the right from a post at No-Necked Monsters' blog titled "Service With a Smile". This was taken at a grocery store (I believe) in London. If you have a hard time reading what's in the photo (like me), this is what it says:
