Dan at Landing The Deal shared his love for fish tacos and a great experience at Coconut Joe's in Bakersfield. Best part about the story is that he got some free food - and for those of you who know me well, free food is at the top of my "Favorite Things In life" list.
I remember going to a See's candy during the holiday rush just wanting one cup of chocolate almonds.
The lady helping me asked, "That's all you want?"
"Yes," I replied.
All the registers were suddenly very busy, so she told me to go ahead and just take the chocolate almonds as a "sample".
SCORE! Or, as Dan said, HOME RUN!
