
This entry really doesn't have anything to do with customer service, but it does have something to do with what is really at the core of good business relationships...and that is: trust. Ok, maybe it does have some relation to customer service in that you do want to be honest with all your customers, but as a business owner it can be a challenge to find people who can be trusted to work for you and in turn be honest to your customers. (Am I making sense? Sorry - I just had a very big dinner!)
Tonight over dinner, a friend of mine told a story of how her business was robbed in the Philippines. She frequently travels back and forth between the U.S. and the Philippines. Because of her busy schedule, she has a caretaker watch over her business in the Philippines. When she was told of the "robbery", she was more concerned that the workers were OK. Well, come to find out - the workers were the ones who robbed her!
