I grew up in a small town near Fresno, California, so seeing Fresno in the news caught my attention this morning. Particularly because the city is now offering a "one call center" where residents can just place one call to make any reports pertaining to the city, find out community events, or even contact their local council member. Customer service representatives will direct calls to the corresponding department.
"The people of Fresno deserve service that is efficient, effective and timely. The One Call Center allows us to do just that," stated Fresno's Mayor, Alan Autry.
The new call center will be powered by FrontRange Solutions, a leader in CRM and voice application solutions. Their products are specifically designed for small-to-medium organizations. For more information, visit: www.frontrange.com
I wish San Diego would offer that kind of service! I'm tired of hunting in the phone book for government offices. It takes forever :(
