I just read a post by Annieelf on customer service and I'm reminded of
my pet peeve, people who were in a rush - particularly people who went shopping on their lunch break. Why do people do this and why do they expect us to rush just because they're in a rush?
However, I'm more understanding now...I know that people sometimes can't shop after work because they have to go pick up their kids from the babysitter, or maybe they're just too tired after work....I'm sure there are a million reasons why they shop during their lunch.
But need I remind those lunch time shoppers that we as cashiers, customer service reps, what-have-you, have no control of how long the line is or if the computer suddenly goes offline.
Please...and thank you for your patience...
