
I was a Verizon Wireless customer for a couple years and didn't have
any issues with them - except for the actual service. Sometimes there were some long hold times trying to get through to customer service, but I expect that. My plan was very basic and I never made any changes. If I did have to do anything, I would call their 800 number.
Steve Garfield of On a Tangent tells of his experience with Verizon Wireless while trying to make changes to his account online:
"... They told me to call back again.
A company with good customer service would have agreed to remove Mobile Web from my phone as soon as their systems came back online and send me a confirmation via email, phone or regular mail.
I put the monkey on their back and they promptly took the monkey and put it right on my back.
I don't want a monkey on my back."
