I'm fed up with these greedy companies that charge to speak to customer service!
When I had an account with Wells Fargo I remember that they only gave you three free customer service calls per month and then charged 25 cents for every call after that. And recently I acquired a Western Union prepaid Mastercard... They charge $1 for every customer service call you make! It's insane!!
Shep Hyken, at Customer Service and More, tells about a recent experience:
"...This person told us they would be happy to make the change and that we would be charged a $25 "customer service charge." I would have been okay with paying for it had they called it something else, like a "change fee." But what they called it was a "customer service charge..."
$25!!! Are you kidding me?? Is this some way that companies are trying to deter us from calling customer service?
What's the world coming to?
