I just read a news report that had me shaking my head and wondering what the world is coming to.... Japan has built a seeing, hearing, and
smelling robot that can carry human beings. They want to use these robots in facilities to help take care of the elderly.
It's enough that we are already irritated with the robotic voices that answer 800 numbers. I can just imagine if there was a glitch with a robot and it ended up carrying the patient to Tim-buck-too, or better yet, if the robot dropped the patient!
And of course, I'm sure the U.S. will want to do something like that too. And then nurses will be out of jobs...
