I just came back from watching "V for Vendetta", a highly thought provoking film and one that had me thinking about heroes. We all seek heroes in our lives, whether it be the "knight in shining armor" or that someone who truly cares for us. We want to feel like we belong and we want to feel like we're part of something bigger than us. We want to stand up for what we truly believe in and we want our voices to be heard.
Ralph Zuranski created the "In Search of Heroes Program" to honor those that help, encourage, and inspire others. Mr. Zuranski was interviewed and asked how people can become heroes, and he answered, " Just simply by giving, by caring, by showing an interest. Once again by finding solutions to problems. By just being a part of people's lives."
Isn't that what we strive to do as customer service professionals? Wouldn't you like to be a hero?
