
Catherine Franz posts a great question on her blog, "Out of the Blog, Into the Light":
" The question this morning for you is, how much do you care about your customers. Not just intellectually. But what are you doing as part of your customer care? What is your customer care policy? Is it posted on your website? In your printed documentation?.... It does make a difference in how people trust you. It will make a difference how people will do business with you."
This reminds me that I need to get busy on my own customer care policy! It's important for people to know how they are going to be treated by you - especially with regards to online purchases. Are you going to protect their privacy and not bombard them with emails? Can they count on you to provide quality products and answer their questions if asked via email?
