
My boyfriend is a price shopper. I shop on service.
We've been having issues with our current phone provider, MCI, which has left us frusterated, to say the least. (Ok, I'll stay away from the negative first thing in the morning).
"Why don't we sign up for Vonage? I saw a commercial that they have this special going on," Hubby says to me.
"Nope. I heard that their customer service isn't all that great," I replied.
"But they have a special..." Hubby urges.
Knock, knock...Hello! We're already having customer service issues - which is why we want to switch - just to go back to where we started?
Before you sign up for that great special, price shoppers, I suggest calling their customer service a few times with tons of questions. Although this technique isn't 100% fool proof, at least this should give you a feel for the kind of people you'll have to deal with.
And as for you service shoppers....shop on!
