Wouldn't it be great to have the CEO of your compnay come for a visit and help customers for a day? For me, that would really show the
commitment to customer service more than anything that could ever be said.
I've never been a CEO of a big company, but I remember as a manager coming in early to mop the floors and making sure the store was clean for the customers. I also spent more times helping customers than doing managerial work.
I was committed to the customer. When customers were in the store, nothing else mattered. When customers weren't satisfied, I did everything in my power to resolve problems. It also helped that I had a district manager who encouraged, motivated, and tole me that I could never go wrong - as long as the customer was happy.
I live by the mantra: "Actions speak louder than words" Do you?
