Devin Thorpe, one of my colleagues with Know More Media, asked for my insight on customer service for corporate clients. After giving it much thought I came to realize that service for a corporate client is not that different from the service you would provide for an individual. The only real difference I can see is that a corporate client may have more specialized needs.
When handling transactions or providing services to corporations, you may have to deal with more than one person within the organization. At that first meeting, show genuine interest for each person and let them know that you have their company's best interest at heart. It's all about bonding with them not only on a professional level, but on a personal level as well. Just keep in mind that we are all people and that each one of us wants to feel valued regardless of the context of the relationship.
Ultimately, it's the 110% effort that will prevail. Oh yeah, and always keep smiling :)

Thanks for the thoughtful response. It sounds like great advice. Keep it coming!
