
It's just been announced that Publix Supermarkets is the highest
ranking supermarket in customer satisfaction by the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI). They've received this honor for twelve years in a row now!
"We're always pleased when our customers are satisfied with the service they receive in our stores. To be ranked the best for this many years in a row is exceptional," said Publix Media and Community Relations Director Maria Brous.
Publix has stores in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee. They currently have over 135,000 employees and has been included in Fortune's "100 Best Companies to Work For in America".
I've never had the privilege to shop in a Publix supermarket before, but I love their slogan, "Where Shopping is a Pleasure". For the west, my favorite supermarket is Vons. The people there are friendly and always ask if I need help finding anything. And the ALWAYS offer to help carry-out my groceries, even if I'm buying just one item :)
