It's a bold statement to make, but it's true - pharmaceutical
companies ARE killing their customers.
You turn on the TV today and every other commercial is trying to sell you a pill - a quick fix for your problem - and there seems to be a pill for every problem nowadays, eh? If you pay attention to these commercials, they always mention some side effects that are even bigger than the actual problem itself.
What kind of customer service is that?
In light of recent lawsuits, people are still buying into these quick fixes. When are we going to wake up and realize that these companies are just thinking about the money and not the customer's well-being? Is it not obvious enough?
I sometimes wonder who the FDA really works for......
P.S. If you have a health care horror story, share it with Michael Moore. You may be in his next movie!

The FDA shouldn't just be slowing down the drug ads, they should be shutting them down completely! Our culture already suffers enough from the belief in "Magic Bullets" and the outcome is more and more drug dependency and irresponsible prescribing practices on the part of physicians who are ethically asleep and/or jaded in their attitudes! As a nurse, it is my observation that we have many more "legal" drug addicts (both physical and psychological dependencies) than "illegal" ones in our country. And I believe the FDA is largely responsible for this increasingly encroaching syndrome, as it is SO in bed with the the corporate drug world!
