
Every time I need a pick-me-up, I go the Starbucks down the street
from my house. I got there not just for the coffee, but for the energetic, nice, and happy employees. There's one guy that always shares jokes with the customers. Laughter fills the air which is pretty contagious. I can always count on walking out of there with a smile on my face and all my stress dissipated.
Question: What do you get when you mix a fish and an elephant?
Answer: Swimming Trunks!
I always say that you gotta have fun at work. Laugh with your customers and you'll have a customer for life. This can be very helpful for call center agents who usually have to deal with people who have been waiting for awhile to get help. Bring some life and humor to the conversation and the customer won't hold the long wait against you.
