There is buzz that Netflix is "throttling" their very active subscribers, which has resulted in some very unhappy customers. It seems that these heavy renters are cutting into the company's bottom-line and now these customers are ending up at the end of the line!
"In determining priority for shipping and inventory allocation, we give priority to those members who receive the fewest DVDs through our service," reads Netflix's rental policy. Although Netflix's CEO, Reed Hastings, claims that Netflix has "unbelievably high customer ratings", I believe that after the throttling news spreads around, Netflix will see a decline in ratings.
I think it's time for the birth of another movie rental company to come out who treats each and every customer fairly. Don't you agree?

Netflix IS treating every customer fairly. Is it really fair to let one percent of subscribers hog 90% of the movies? That's what so-called "throttling" is meant to rectify.
